Artist Kathleen Zimbicki has been an integral part of the Pittsburgh art community for over 60 years. She has nurtured future generations of artists at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts, TouchStone, and Carnegie Mellon University, among others and her Studio Z Gallery was a Southside fixture for nearly 40 years.
Her work is colorful, bright, lively, warm, amusing, sometimes serene and wonderfully executed showing a full range of technical ability.
