Art of Earth: Scott Cornish and Conrad Quesen

Lead Image

See work by ceramicist Scott Cornish and painter Conrad Quesen. Scott Cornish is known regionally for wood-fired utilitarian ceramic art. Tending fire night and day, Scott is driven by a love of nature and commitment to sustainability. Flames licking the clay's surface result in works that cannot be found in a modern kiln. Conrad Quesen focuses on the fluidity and reflection in water for a reposeful series of abstract nature paintings, examining the play of light on water. The artists' synergy reflects their easygoing vibe, making room for a viewer to pause.
